Transform Lives Through Creative Expression in Cape Coral
Unrivaled Expertise
At UC Behavioral Health & Social Services, we believe that healing isn’t always found in words. For children and young adults ages 3–21, the path to wellness often requires a more vibrant, rhythmic, and creative approach.
Personalized Solutions
We are currently seeking dedicated clinicians to serve the Cape Coral community. In this unique role, you will provide life-changing support across two primary environments:
In-Clinic: Working within our state-of-the-art therapeutic facilities.
In-Home: Bringing specialized care directly to the child’s natural environment for maximum impact.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send us a message.

🎨 Art Therapist
Our Art Therapists help children and adolescents process trauma, manage emotions, and develop social skills through the power of visual media. In this role, you aren’t just teaching art; you are providing a non-verbal outlet for complex feelings that a 5-year-old or a 17-year-old might not yet have the vocabulary to express.
Key Requirements:
- ATCB Certification: Must hold current certification from the Art Therapy Credentials Board.
- Registered Art Therapist (ATR): Must be a Registered Art Therapist in good standing.
- Flexibility: Comfortable transitioning between clinic-based sessions and home-based visits in the Cape Coral area.
🎵 Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)
As a Music Therapist at UC, you will use evidence-based musical interventions to support the cognitive, emotional, and physical goals of our youth. Whether it’s songwriting with a teenager in our clinic or rhythmic play with a preschooler in their own living room, your work provides the “soundtrack” to their recovery.
Key Requirements:
- MT-BC Credential: Must be a Board-Certified Music Therapist through the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT).
- Clinical Versatility: Ability to adapt musical styles and instruments to suit the developmental needs of children and young adults.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel within Cape Coral to provide essential in-home services.
